DROP meets with Minister Wolfgang Tiefensee in Cape Town on the occasion of his visit to the Cape.

Minister Mr. Tiefensee and his delegation visited the Cape with the intention of strengthening cooperation between the German Federal State of Thuringia and the Western Cape and also with Stellenbosch University. He expressed interest in the work of DROP and see’s the law as a crucial prerequisite for development in Africa, also in the fight against corruption. Profs. Schneider and Ruppel, both Editors of the Legal Publication Series “Law and Constitution in Africa” (cf. http://www.nomos-shop.de/reihenpopup.aspx?reihe=225) briefed the Minister on recently published issues and developments at the occasion of their meeting at the German Ambassador’s Residence in Cape Town on 7 May 2015.Tiefensee
